ABOUT US
What is the Quadrathlon?

Each young athlete competes in four individual events with a sprint, a middle distance, a jump and a throw receiving points for each performance. These points are added up and the top three athletes in each age group receive winners and runners up awards.

These principles support Long Term Athlete Development guidelines and whilst there will be event winners, the Young Athletes' Quadrathlon concept promotes an active and healthy lifestyle in a compact and exciting afternoon of Track & Field.

Who can take Part?

Athletes must be a minimum of 7 years old on the day of the competition which is open to athletes from clubs or schools in the Under 9's through to Under 15's.

Athletes can be no older than 14 by the end of the current school year (Year 9).
